So here it is....
So I’ve never had a blog before, and what I would like to use this for is to post videos of me messing around on my guitar. Now let’s be clear I am in NO way a professional! lol! Just a girl with a guitar. Sometimes I’m just downright tired and my voice sounds like crap but I feel like singing anyways - so that’s what I’m gonna post. Sometimes it will be good(ish?) - sometimes it will be just terrible. Hope some of it is enjoyable or at least interesting!

So I’m back! Out of the restaurant industry **hopefully** for good since I’m starting grad school soon - and back playing guitar! Hey y’all! So this is a cover of a wicked song by Tim McGraw called Good Girls. In my opinion this song is totally underrated! Losing my voice a bit here - and probably will be for a while cause I’m back to work in the bar industry - late nights, loud music etc etc so you will start seeing me covering a lot of songs by male vocalists cause my lower register tends to remain intact. So I debated about posting this one because Miranda Lambert is AMAZING & a very strong vocalist and is therefore SUPER INTIMIDATING to cover! But I love this song & so I decided to just post it.
From the first time I heard this song it has been one of my favorites off the album because it is beautiful, and also because it strikes a chord with me because my best friend passed away a couple years ago, and so I relate strongly to the lyrics.

From when I saw Kenny Chesney at the Capital Hoedown - epic obvi - but not as good as when we saw him at Scotiabank Place - HOWEVER - we did manage to get ON STAGE and watch part of the show from behind him onstage which was completely epic and not something I’ll ever forget! The second 2 pics are from ON the stage! One is looking out at the crowd from behind the amps and the other one is looking at the back of Kenny who is facing the crowd, taken from behind his amps! Pretty crazy stuff… tempted to borrow a line from Miss Penny Lane that definitely suits that night -
